GDPRLocal

On this occasion we are excited to present a new opening within the GDPRLocal team, one of our Founders Hub incubator companies. GDPRLocal is a dynamic, high-tech, data protection company, providing compliance and data protection services to a wide range of companies across the EU and globally.

 

We are growing our GDPRLocal team to support our existing (400+) and new clients – they have huge plans and will grow fast.

THE ROLE

As a Compliance Executive, you will be assisting existing and new clients with their data protection and GDPR compliance inquiries, through GDPRLocal’s innovative platform. Assuming the role, you will independently manage GDPR and data protection projects, ensuring meticulous review of all the relevant documentation, including SARs, RTEs, data breaches and more. Additionally, you will use your expert knowledge and support other team members with their tasks and assignments related to GDPR compliance matters.

This position is ideal for a data protection and GDPR enthusiast, with excellent English skills and a genuine dedication for working in an international environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Independently managing the full scope of GDPR projects within the team
  • Reviewing and updating data protection and GDPR documentation to ensure compliance with GDPR standards and regulations
  • Reviewing International Data Transfers and Safeguard mechanisms
  • Conducting risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Solving Subject Access Requests (SARs), Right to Erase (RTEs) requests and Data breaches independently
  • Liaising with regulators to address compliance issues effectively on the behalf of clients
  • Creating comprehensive reports capturing the results and outcomes of GDPR related projects
  • Assisting and supporting assigned clients, promptly addressing inquiries and providing expert guidance on GDPR compliance matters.
  • Assisting junior team members with tasks and assignments related to GDPR projects and consultancy
  • Excellent understanding of GDPRLocal portal
  • Actively use and manage projects in Asana (CRM)
Requirements
  • Working experience with compliance and legal matters, specifically data protection and GDPR compliance
  • Preferable experience or certification in the areas of data protection, information security, cyber security and familiarity with artificial intelligence ethics
  • Experienced in leading communication with business clients, in a client facing role
  • Previous experience with onboarding new clients
  • Excellent English, both written and verbal
  • Tech savvy individual, comfortable working with technical solutions (Asana or CRM tools)
  • A high degree of personal organisation and good time management
  • Proven ability to work towards agreed goals and achieving targets
  • Process oriented with impeccable attention to detail
  • Certification in information security frameworks (ISO27001) will be considered a plus
