THE ROLE

Within our Business Analytics and Reporting Team, we are seeking a full-time Senior Data Analyst.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will take full ownership of the current data ecosystem, own the process of producing and distributing reports through modern and flexible systems, to all levels of the business. Detail obsessed, the right candidate will work on analytics projects to inform and influence the company’s strategic direction by performing original analyses and consolidating existing analyses into a cohesive story.

As our ideal candidate you would have impeccable communication skills and ability to share complex, uncertain results to an executive audience, ample experience with Data Visualization tools (preferably Power BI), proven record of cleaning, interpreting, and analyzing data in SQL, Power BI and similar analytical stack.

Key responsibilities
  • Full ownership of the current data ecosystem and work with our internal stakeholders on improving the Data Infrastructure and the tools we use
  • Full ownership of reports and dashboard creation
  • Work closely with Business stakeholders to identify key new projects where data can add value
  • Develop complex advancement reports using SQL, Microsoft Office and other utilities or languages as necessary
  • Implement new tools that will enable us to do more advanced analytics and predictive modelling
  • Define metrics and success criteria for new and existing company processes and initiatives.
  • Work cross functionally with different teams to drive roadmaps and inform key strategic decisions
  • Advocate for data-informed decision making and continue to build an insights-driven culture
  • Define metrics and utilize dashboards to measure the health of our processes and suggests improvements.
  • Identify and clearly communicate actionable insights for cross functional stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Specialist or similar data driven role.
  • Extensive experience with Data visualisation and reporting, and ability to find the best way to communicate various insights and information
  • Extensive experience with Data Visualisation tools (preferably Power BI) and SQL
  • Proven record of cleaning, interpreting, and analysing data in SQL, Power BI or similar modern data analysis stack
  • Impeccable communication skills and ability to share complex, uncertain results to an executive audience.
  • Previous experience with development, implementation and support of ETL processes for Microsoft SQL DWH (SSIS). Experience with ClickHouse would be a plus.
  • Ability to independently take user requirements and suggest improvements
