  • Write SQL queries against the Data Warehouse to extract, transform, and explore data

  • Use AI tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to accelerate SQL writing, analysis, and documentation – treating them as default collaborators, not occasional helpers

  • Build and maintain analytical models that explain deliverability performance over time

  • Translate complex, uncertain analyses into clear narratives for senior stakeholders and the broader Operations leadership

  • Collaborate with the data team to flag data requirements and ensure the right data is available in the Data Warehouse

  • Identify and clearly communicate actionable insights that influence how the email function operates

  • Support the Head of Operations with data-driven input into strategic and operational decisions

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role
  • Strong SQL skills — comfortable writing queries against a structured data warehouse
  • Proven ability to take a complex dataset and produce a clear, structured story from it
  • Strong communication skills — able to present findings confidently to senior audiences
  • A natural collaborator who thrives working in a close peer partnership
  • Curious and analytical by nature, with a track record of finding insight others miss
  • Experience in email, deliverability, or digital marketing is advantageous but not essential
  • AI-native in how you work – comfortable using LLMs and AI tools as default collaborators to accelerate analysis, surface patterns, and identify automation opportunities in recurring work
