The Role

The Sopro Operations Manager will provide leadership and support across the full spectrum of Sopro ops resource.

Key responsibilities

Team management

  • Direct line management of operations team leads
  • Ensure that all workings are manufactured in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements
  • Recruit, train, supervise and appraise human resources
  • Chalk out or improve operational systems, processes and best practices that guarantee organizational well-being
  • Develop manager and non-manager employees to full competence through staggered and supported introduction to their various tasks and responsibilities
  • Support client communications via email, skype, phone or in person to ensure high standards of communication, personally and across the team
  • Balance high levels of output with extremely high quality and accuracy standards

Reporting and Systems

  • Maintain and distribute agreed internal MI and commercial reporting
  • Support the development and distribution of MI reports and dashboards
  • Proactively review and improve the various MI channels in place

Strategy and Leadership

  • Work with the Head of Operations to forecast and resource the department effectively
  • Contribute towards the achievement of company’s strategic and operational objectives
  • Work with the Head of Operations to Implement management frameworks and management tier to support the growth of the business
  • Identify opportunities to apply technology to increase efficiency and improve performance
  • Work with the Head of Operations to implement the system changes required to improve the service delivery process

  • Strong Excel Proficiency
  • Experience managing multi-channel digital marketing, agency or client side with demonstrable success
  • Experience managing managers and teams
  • Experience managing key client and partner relationships
  • Strong understanding of CRM system usage
  • Comfortable communicating at C-Level both internally and externally
  • Perfect, fluent written and verbal English skills
