Job description

With offices in Brighton and Skopje, Sopro provides sophisticated digital marketing services to a global client base, from innovative start-ups to household brands.

Sopro revolutionised prospecting when we started nine years ago, and we continue to operate at the cutting edge. Our technology, data, processes and people mean there’s nothing quite like Sopro.

We’ve evolved from our initial focus on email prospecting, and we now offer a fully managed, totally synchronised, multichannel outreach service. Our relentless focus on innovation makes it an exciting time for our clients, and our staff. Sopro is committed to providing an inclusive, rewarding and fun place to work and received a “Best Place to Work” award at the UK Business Awards 2021.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Performance Marketing Manager to join our UK Marketing team at Sopro. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will take ownership of our global digital marketing strategy, managing significant budgets across multiple channels while working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive lead acquisition and brand awareness.
You will bring expertise in executing scalable, data-driven campaigns, optimising marketing technology, and working collaboratively to meet and exceed ambitious performance targets. If you are commercially minded, results-driven, and ready to shape impactful campaigns, this role is for you.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and execute an overarching digital strategy to grow brand awareness and revenue, delivering scalable, repeatable, and cost-effective campaigns.
  • Manage and optimise paid media budgets to maximise return on investment (ROI) while meeting cost-per-acquisition (CAC) and return on ad spend (ROAS) targets.
  • Drive lead acquisition through paid media channels, ensuring alignment with company targets.
  • Work directly with Hubspot CRM to map addressable audiences, track engagement and intent, and optimise activity to achieve departmental and business KPIs.
  • Design, test, and improve lead nurturing tactics, including workflows and sequences via HubSpot.
  • Optimise campaigns for performance and efficiency, ensuring CAC and ROAS targets are met.
  • Manage third-party PPC agency relationships, reviewing performance and driving improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, content, SEO, development) and external stakeholders to refine campaigns and implement effective marketing strategies.
  • Create and manage full-funnel campaigns on Meta Ads Manager (formerly Facebook Business Manager) and LinkedIn Campaign Manager, leveraging custom audiences and retargeting.
  • Coordinate web development efforts to support marketing campaigns and improve conversion rates, engagement, and user experience.
  • Leverage technologies like Clearbit for precise targeting across the lead-to-sales pipeline.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to gain competitive advantage through the use of AI.
  • Structure and communicate weekly and monthly departmental performance reporting to stakeholders and the wider business.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in performance marketing, with at least 3 years of experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Experience in managing multi-channel campaigns and significant budgets with tools such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, and Meta Ads Manager.
  • At home in Excel and able to work with raw data, connected datasets and pivot tables.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms like HubSpot, including creating and optimising workflows.
  • Solid understanding of lead attribution, conversion tracking, and campaign performance metrics.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics (GA4), with experience building and maintaining dashboards to track KPIs.
  • Commercially minded, with a strong grasp of the B2B sales cycle and the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable reporting on performance to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams (designers, developers, content managers) to bring campaigns to life and ensure smooth execution.
  • Creative thinker with a sharp analytical mindset, able to deliver ROI-focused strategies.
  • Google Ads certification and experience with tools like Clearbit, Figma and Microsoft Power BI are highly desirable.
