Job Description

Headquartered in Brighton, UK, SoPro provide Digital Marketing Services to a global client base.

With approx 30 new hires in the last 12 months SoPro has maintained its position as one of the fastest growing digital marketing agencies in Europe.

SoPro and our partner brands offer a sophisticated variety of B2B marketing services, delivered using our proprietary social prospecting platform, together with a range of in-house, tools, processes and specialist skills.

Services are provided on a campaign basis, with campaigns generally lasting 3-36 months, we also provide dedicated marketing support to key clients together with a variety of technical and development services.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management (70%)

  • Direct line management of up to 10 team members.
  • Accountability for team performance, ensuring all relevant KPIs are achieved across the team at both collective and individual levels.
  • Support the recruitment process. Interview and assess candidates together with the head of the department
  • Manage and track staff holiday, absence and performance matters, implementing the various stages of the company’s HR and Performance Management policies where appropriate
  • Help in developing the new starter induction training program and material.
  • Deliver new starter inductions and training for all new additions to the team.
  • Develop staff to full competence through staggered and supported introduction to their roles and responsibilities with the help of senior executives within the team.
  • Balance high levels of output with extremely high quality and accuracy.
  • Represent the various working policy stances and positions of the business with confidence and authority, maintaining employee trust and motivation at all times.
  • Lead by example to develop an environment of trust, maturity and positivity within the workplace, ensuring a motivated and happy team.

Campaign Delivery (30%)

  • Day to day delivery of key client campaigns. Support and deliver our highest value contracts.
  • Maintain user-level familiarity with all delivery systems and processes.
  • Reporting and systems
  • Oversee the weekly reporting process, ensuring accuracy and high quality campaign analyses is performed, together with appropriate suggestions being sent to the client
  • Ensure team adhering to all defined procedures
  • Maintain and distribute internal reporting on team’s KPI performance. (I.e. bonus submissions)
  • Strategy and Leadership
  • Work with the head of department to continually improve the ops processes, systems and procedures
Requirements
  • Organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • 3+ experience working in B2B digital marketing sector
  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
  • Previous experience with managing resources and delegating tasks
  • Proven problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to create and inspire team environment with an open communication culture
  • Ability to make responsible and effective decisions
