Job description

After spending seven years redefining B2B demand generation techniques from our offices in Brighton, Skopje, and Serbia, we are very excited about the recent expansion to the US market and our growing office based in Miami.

We help our clients sell more by starting new sales conversations with the people that matter. We source their ideal prospects, engage them with personalised emails, and connect them directly to our clients when they are ready to talk business.

We provide social prospecting services to hundreds of businesses, from all over the globe, and feel now is the right time to grow our US presence to serve and grow our already strong client base there effectively and efficiently.

The role

As a result of our business growth and expansion towards the US market, we are growing our US Market dedicated Operations team in Skopje and we have an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager – Operations.

You will be a key member in our Operations team, as you’ll be responsible for leading and managing a team of Marketing Operations Executives, and together you’ll contribute to achieve our clients growth plans. Your focus will be on the performance and development of the team members as well as managing their workload and resources.

Within this role, you’ll also be responsible for planning and overseeing the prospecting delivery strategy for Sopro’s US based clients. You’ll be supporting our key clients and owning the process of their campaign delivery. As a highly data-driven person, you’ll be overseeing the reporting processes and contributing to operational and system improvements.

The role will follow working hours in adherence with the US Market (3-11 pm local time).

Key responsibilities
  • Team Management: Direct line management of up to 10 team members; Accountability for team performance, ensuring all relevant KPIs are achieved across the team at both collective and individual levels;
  • Performance Management: Develop staff to full competence through staggered and supported introduction to their roles and responsibilities with the help of senior executives within the team;
  • Training: Delivering new starter induction training program and material to all new additions to the team;
  • People Management: Manage and track staff holiday, absence and performance matters, implementing the various stages of the company’s HR and Performance Management policies where appropriate;
  • Represent the various working policy stances and positions of the business with confidence and authority; lead by example maintaining employee trust and motivation at all times;
  • Recruitment: Support the recruitment process though interviewing and assessing candidates together with the Operations Manager;
  • Campaign Delivery: Day-to-day delivery of key client social prospecting campaigns, support and deliver our highest value contracts;
  • KPI Tracking: Maintain and distribute internal reporting on team’s KPI performance. (I.e. bonus submissions);
  • Reporting: Oversee the weekly reporting process, ensuring accuracy and high quality campaign analysis is performed, together with appropriate suggestions being sent to the client;
  • System Improvements: Work with the Operations Managers to continually improve the ops processes, systems and procedures;
Requirements
  • 3+ experience working in B2B digital marketing sector
  • Proven experience in people leadership role, managing resources and delegating tasks.
  • People-focused, with an empathetic, consultative approach to training, supporting or mentoring colleagues, with an ability to create and inspire a team environment with an open communication culture
  • Data-driven, with an in-depth knowledge of performance metrics and ability to make responsible and effective decisions
  • Excellent communication skills and proven problem solving attitude
