Working in the UK Marketing team alongside the Website and Digital Content Manager, this exciting new role will be responsible for creating content that drives organic traffic and leads for Sopro.
You will be an excellent writer with previous experience in a content-focused role. You should have a thorough understanding of on-page SEO and how to develop SEO content.
You will conduct keyword and competitor research and analyse data to inform your work. While support will be ongoing, you should be able to devise your own strategy for growing organic traffic and leads, and own the results of your content.
This is an exciting new role in a relatively new team so there is huge potential to make your mark in a fast-growing business and within a supportive, close-knit team.

Writing content – whether that’s the blog, landing pages, case studies, whitepapers… wherever the business needs!
Owning your own workload – you need to be able to identify keyword opportunities and plan and write your own content.
Implementing the wider SEO strategy to drive qualified traffic and conversions.
Analysing data – from keyword research to website analytics – you should be comfortable using data to inform and refine your strategy.
Working closely with the wider team to understand the marketing plans and how content aligns and contributes.
Experience in a content role, ideally 2+ years
Understanding of content development for SEO and lead generation
An understanding of, or experience in, the B2B technology marketplace would be advantageous but is not necessary
Comfortable analysing data and deriving meaning from it
Experience with using CMS and SEO software
Ability to prioritise multiple projects simultaneously
