THE ROLE

Following our international growth, we are excited to introduce a new role as an Internal Communications Manager who will develop and guide the implementation of communication strategies that promote employee engagement and enhance company culture. Assuming this role, you will work closely with our senior management team, People and Culture team, as well as other key internal stakeholders, making sure that our communication efforts are aligned with Sopro’s vision, mission and values.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy that aligns with Sopro’s vision, mission, and values.
  • Create and manage an editorial calendar for internal communication activities, including company-wide emails, newsletters, company update meetings, and other communication channels.
  • Develop and implement effective communication processes and systems to ensure consistent messaging and timely dissemination of information across the organisation.
  • Develop and manage content for internal communication channels, including written content, graphics, videos, and other multimedia assets.
  • Develop and execute targeted communication plans for specific internal stakeholders, such as departments, teams, and functional groups.
  • Ensure that internal communication efforts are aligned with external communication efforts, such as marketing campaigns, public relations, and social media.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of internal communication efforts and use data to continuously improve communication strategies.
  • Foster a culture of open communication, transparency, and trust across the organization.
  • Provide guidance and support to senior management and other key stakeholders on effective communication practices.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in internal communication, employee engagement, or related fields.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience developing and executing communication plans for large, complex global organisations.
  • Understanding of communication best practices, including message development, audience segmentation, and channel selection.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with communication tools, such as email marketing platforms, intranet systems, and content management systems.
