The role

Following the expansion of our fastest growing department – Operations, we have an exciting new opportunity for Head of Operations who will facilitate the planned growth of the Operations Department and make a significant impact in our already fast-growing business.

Working closely with the Group COO, you will take on the day-to-day management and running of our Premium Operations Department, including forecasting headcount, recruiting, inducting and training new team members at pace.

This new role will be a crucial one that requires a blend of abilities from the training and motivating of the team, to a multitude of strategic, technical, commercial & creative management skills.

Key responsibilities
  • Forecast and resource the department effectively
  • Recruit and train new employees
  • Prepare Forecasts and KPI Reporting
  • Plan, schedule and oversee the delivery strategy
  • Analyse performance, providing key business insights such as campaign performance and delivery against forecast
  • Take the lead in the continuous improvement of the Ops processes, systems and procedures
  • Performance manage the team when needed
  • Define and manage the department to a clear KPI framework aligned to business goals
  • Accountability for department performance, ensuring all relevant KPIs are achieved across the department, at both collective, on a team and on individual levels.
  • Ensure clear internal and external communications are employed departmentally
  • Represent the various working policy stances and positions of the business with confidence and authority, maintaining employee trust and motivation at all times.
  • Lead by example to develop an environment of trust, maturity and positivity within the workplace, ensuring a motivated and happy team
Requirements
  • Proven work experience in managing managers and teams
  • Digital marketing background with strong technical skills
  • Experience in managing growth
  • Experience managing key client and partner relationships
  • Strong understanding of CRM system usage
  • Strong Excel Proficiency
  • Comfortable communicating at C-Level both internally and externally
  • Strategic thinking with an entrepreneurial spirit; you are passionate, persuasive and inspiring
  • An orientation toward action and passion for execution
