Sopro, and our partner brands, offer a sophisticated variety of B2B marketing services, delivered using our proprietary social prospecting platform, together with a range of in-house, tools, processes, and specialist skills.

Services are provided on a campaign basis, with campaigns generally lasting 3-36 months, we also provide dedicated marketing support to key clients together with a variety of technical and development services.

The role

The Credit Controller (UK) will report into the Group Financial Controller but work closely with the Credit Control Senior.

Key responsibilities
  • Support the Sales Ledger activities, including setting up payment methods for new clients, review of incoming payments, preparing vendor forms on request from clients, liaising with Ops team on client receipts
  • Support the Credit Control activities, including overseeing reminders being sent out, flagging overdue balances and dealing with queries into the credit control mailbox
  • Day to Day bookkeeping within Xero, including posting and reconciliation from the bank accounts, review of key account codes and assisting with month end reconciliations
  • Support of the Financial Controller and wider finance team with any adhoc review and analysis
  • Working within the subscription billing platform (Chargify) to assist with overseeing recurring payments of SaaS (Outbase) clients
Requirements
  • Bright, numerate and ambitious individual looking to gain finance experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong team player, comfortable supporting others
  • Self-starter with ability to work accurately & efficiently, with good attention to detail
  • Experience with MS Office suite (Excel)
  • Payments of SaaS (Outbase) clients
