The role

On this occasion we are excited to present a new opening within the GDPR Local team, one of our incubator companies.

GDPR Local is a dynamic, high-tech, data protection company, providing GDPR compliant services to a wide range of companies across the EU and globally.

We are growing our GDPR Local team now to support our existing and new clients – they have huge plans and will grow fast.

Assuming the role, as a Compliance Team Manager you will be focused on supporting, directing and leading a team of Compliance Executives, to deliver data protection and GDPR compliance activities and contribute to client retention Reporting to the Managing Director, you will ensure client satisfaction while helping the growth of the team and handle compliance and data protection issues.

Key responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing a team of Compliance Executives and delegating tasks related to the clients and the company.
  • Responsible for the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment and performance management.
  • Evaluate team performance and provide coaching and mentorship to individuals to ensure KPIs are met.
  • Developing strategies to promote team member adherence to performance goals and company targets
  • Lead by example to develop an environment of trust, maturity and positivity within the workplace, ensuring a motivated and happy team.
  • Work closely with the Business Development Manager  to drive improvements in the overall client experience and to drive revenue growth whilst mitigating client churn
  • Support specific client requests and continually seek opportunities to increase client satisfaction and take ownership of improvement projects end-to-end.
  • Actively use and manage HubSpot account
  • Create and improve on existing reports
  • Collaborate with the tech team for various product updates, as well as with other relevant departments within the company
  • Demonstrable record of people leadership and results
  • Previous legal and data protection [GDPR, cyber] background is preferred
  • Strong skills as an influencer, coach, communicator and relationship builder
  • People-focused, with an empathetic, consultative approach to training, supporting or mentoring colleagues.
  • Confident decision maker who can effectively manage concurrent priorities and who is comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Strong track record of identifying opportunities to improve the client experience and ways of working.
  • High level of professional integrity
  • Excellent English, both written and verbal
  • Experienced with marketing automation software, or any CRM (Hubsport, Mailchimp) would be considered as an advantage
